Protein Power Diet is a good concept which is one of healthiest ones. In essence if you like lots of proteins and want to get more muscles and better health you
can go for this diet. In my opinion there is too much of proteins but maybe for some of us this will be okay.
Especially after moving from "normal" unhealthy "civilized diet" it can be good idea to eat more proteins. This diet should make you slimmer and more muscular but
there is one small issue. You may find it difficult to eat all this proteins, even worst you may not want to eat them so much because your taste will ask for something
else instead.
Again you have to remember that no two days are the same. One day you will eat 200 grams of proteins and 50 grams of proteins on the other.
And one more important thing, you have to eat fat as well (at least 50% of dietary fat in your diet should come from animal sources).
Remember that lean proteins (chicken for example) are useless and toxic if you will forget about fat. Fat is necessary for all of body chemical reactions. With no fat in
your diet you can't effectively burn calories (excess of body fat for example). Your body is forced to switch to carbohydrate-burning mode what probably will lead you to health
related problems later on. If you want to lose excess of body fat REALLY FAST and painlessly you have to eat fats, there is no healthier and easier way to do that.
Red meat is the best source of high quality protein. Don't overcook it to keep all important vitamins, minerals and cofactors on place.
So like you can see this diet will not always be full of proteins. I think that a basic concept of this diet plan is good and in general is safe for you.
This is kind of low carbohydrate diet. Protein power plan should includes some of animal fats. It is a good concept to follow especially for natural body builders who don't
have problems with fatty bellies. Protein Power diet need only slight changes to become fully healthy diet.
Generally speaking for normal adult there should be less proteins and more animal fats which are very important for our health as well
(they are building blocks of our cells). Fat is a prime source of energy for our cells which are designed to burn fat not carbohydrates!
In our cells are small energy-stations called mitochondria which are intended to burn fat and they are doing this very well if we let them do this.
We are not bacteria's which are made to live only on carbohydrates (sugar), we are much more complicated organisms made to use fat as a fuel.
By the way did you know that cancer cells can only use carbohydrates as source of fuel? They can't use fat. That is why if you are on low carbohydrate diet you have
less chances to get cancer. Process of developing cancer is of course more complicated and includes Insulin and IGF-1 relations but we can safely say that low carbohydrate
diet will protect you against cancer better than other high carbohydrate diets (every diet with carbohydrate amount more than 70 grams per day you should consider as a
medium carbohydrate diet. More than 150 grams of carbohydrates make any diet high carbohydrate one).
Next important thing is that excess of proteins in your diet MAY be turned into sugars what is not good for your organisms and what MAY "teach" cancer cells how to produce
fuel from proteins. There always should be moderation in everything we do, in our diet as well.

To Be Vegetarian, or Not to Be?
This is one of hottest questions these days. Vegetarianisms is now very popular, many people strongly believe that this is good way to go.
But vegetarianism is not encoded in our genes and we will never achieve optimal health and life span if our prime food will come only from plant world.
Food history not lying, if there was any possibility to get meat and fat it was always first choice food.
There is no point to stop eating of meats and animal fats. Of course we should eat only free range/grass fed and organic meats if possible (better mineral and vitamin content).
Red meat, game meat, poultry and fish and any other animal products are rich in minerals, vitamins, coenzymes and proteins.
If you want to be healthy and live long and happy life meat should be on your plate at least two times a week.
Of course there are some vegetarians in good shape but nothing is better than red meat proteins, coenzymes and minerals.
