" Chinese Diet is Probably the Most Misinterpreted
and Mythical of all Diets"
CHINESE DIET
"You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces - just good food from fresh ingredients." Julia Child,
US cook & cookbook author (1912 - 2004)
One of the healthiest diets. Is it true or just a misunderstanding?
It is very popular diet around the world and many people in western countries will tell you that this is one of the healthiest diets ever.
But this is just one part of true. Complete true is that there are not many calories in this diet and that is a main reason why Chinese have better health than we have.
Calorie restriction is known to have very good effects on lifespan and general health. It is scientific and proved fact. Traditional Chinese diet is a low
calorie diet and that is why we can call it healthy.
Besides, one very important thing must be clear for you. If you will decide to go for this diet plan overloaded with carbohydrates and reduced animal proteins and
fats probably you will stay healthy but you will never achieve your Greatest Biological Strength.
What it means Greatest Biological Strength? In 90% of cases it means perfect skin, lean body, clear mind and very good health. There is a big difference
between good health and astonishing health.
If we compare Chinese Diet to our Modern Western diet with all that fake foods for sure Chinese plan is much healthier. On the other hand if we compare Chinese plan
and Natural Human Diet first one will loss in this competition.
Chinese way of eating is healthy because mostly it is based on natural and fresh healthy foods. There are no hamburgers, pizza, pastas and sweet pseudo-fruit
drinks. That is why generally Chinese people have better health than we have (they have better medicine as well).
"Chinese restaurant meals are rich in animal foods, but the truth is that the vast majority of Chinese cannot afford to include much in the way of meat
or fish in their diets. Herein lies the great paradox of Chinese foodways..." westonprice.org
Next important factor which makes chinese nutrition healthy is a way of food preparation. Foods are prepared very quickly and that is why they still keep essential
nutrients. Chinese eat lots of vegetables and herbs which are loaded with many healthy vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
The biggest issue of this diet is lack of animal fats (saturated fat) and huge amount of rice. Rice is simply a carbohydrate source and as you know already
carbohydrates are worst source of energy than fats.
To make Chinese diet better and friendlier for our bodies we should change carbohydrates for fats. Traditional Chinese diet is low on calorie as well and similar to
Japanese Diet. Original Chinese ingredients can be difficult to get in western world.
This diet is one of healthiest way of eating and it can be part of a healthy lifestyle so you can adopt this diet if you like Chinese style foods.
Add some animal fats as well to make this diet really healthy.
Healthy Foods Quote
..."Our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food." Hippocrates
To Be Vegetarian, or Not to Be?
This is one of hottest questions these days. Vegetarianisms is now very popular, many people strongly believe that this is good way to go.
But vegetarianism is not encoded in our genes and we will never achieve optimal health and life span if our prime food will come only from plant world.
Food history not lying, if there was any possibility to get meat and fat it was always first choice food.
There is no point to stop eating of meats and animal fats. Of course we should eat only free range/grass fed and organic meats if possible (better mineral and vitamin content).
Red meat, game meat, poultry and fish and any other animal products are rich in minerals, vitamins, coenzymes and proteins.
If you want to be healthy and live long and happy life meat should be on your plate at least two times a week.
Of course there are some vegetarians in good shape but nothing is better than red meat proteins, coenzymes and minerals.
Weston Price while travelling around the world noticed that in areas where meat was quite easily available people were much healthier,
bigger and stronger than in other more veggie areas. That is fact from real life, not from laboratory.
Healthy Meat
Our human evolution and food history started about 7 million years ago and through all these years we were omnivores, plant and meat eaters.
In general we can say that our main food was meat (fatty and lean), fish, many greens and roots, some ripe and sour fruits
(not those sweet modern fruits loaded with sugars) and insects. Seven million years of meat eating is very long time,
we evolved on meat and fats!
